(Actually it wasn't MUCH of a hiatus apart from the fact I haven't seen my flist in ages, I don't post more than once a week usually anyway!)
But um yeah, I had the last university interview I'll have in my LIFE yesterday :DD IT'S A GOOD FEELING. HOHOHO.
It was annoying how it was so typically LIKE AN INTERVIEW. i.e., everything you prepare for wasn't asked, and everything you didn't expect WAS asked. :/ But I blabbed a little bit. They seemed impressed enough that I could explain cystic fibrosis smoothly, but the thing is, even though my interview IN ITSELF wasn't bad, I'm more afraid of the other people coming in for interviews being way better. Cause they looked pretty damn smart :/ Or maybe that's just the effect wearing a suit has on people? LOL.
Apparantly the news comes within 2-3 weeks, so fingers crossed :X

And while I was IN London, I couldn't resist wandering off to the China Town HUHUHUH:

And my first time using the London tube by myself!
(There was a man complaining about how Hamburgs were so full of themselves. 'They think they're the new window to the world!' as he said 0__o?? )

Moving onnn... Sara's early 18th suprise on Friday, we got her a cake~! :0

IS IT NOT JUST *THE* BEST CAKE EVER? It's a reference to the 'Big fat greek wedding'. The pot of flowers I mean, not the paper cut outs of the boy. We just put that there for the hilarity factor. xD
( I love suprise birthday mini-gatherings with a passion haha <3 )

Aaaaaand on Wednesday, we went out to eat (again for Sara's birthday... on her actual birthDAY :0 )
( Someday, SOMEDAY I will have the Godfather! ;___; )

Last bit I think now?
Afternoon before Sara's 3 of us ended up at Emily's.
I actually had no idea where to get OFF the bus so she said she'd be at the stop waiting for me, but she didn't get there in time and I ended up going three stops further >____>
And the shoes I was wearing weren't the best for trekking in (they were bought in HK, what more do I need to say?? LOL)
I ended up walking bare foot back to her house and get some plasters for my toes D:

 I got a reply from Sheffield Uni around 2pm today- a rejection.

That makes 2/5 rejections from universities. For medicine. And they're from the two that I really wanted to go to.

For the first ten minutes or so I sat there crying. and thought 'maybe I'm not meant to do Medicine, maybe I really overestimated myself by thinking I could get into universities for the course.'

But I cooled down after a while. I can't do anything about it now- the chance to go to Sheffield for Medicine really is- gone. What I have to hope for now is an offer from Kings, which I've got an interview next week for.

And I started to feel I was being a bit of an idiot for feeling so upset and crying over getting two rejections. I mean, people have it a lot worse. Some with horrible luck manage to get 4 rejections even if they're incredibly hardworking. Some don't even got a shot at applying to university. And I shouldn't let this affect my next interview. If I'm going to be aiming for a career that has as much stress and potential disappointment as medicine does, then I've got to push on and I WILL.

And I'm going to give Kings college all I have.

So i'll start with this:

Past seven days: Painful, Maths, History, Chemistry, Biology, TSR, 'Plebs'
Yesterday: Curlers, B.A.T., Blisters, K, Mood, Dancing, Barefoot, Showerless, General RAVE :)
Today: Had the best shower in my life. No joke.
Now: FREEDOM. Proud to say I made the hiatus :DD

And now it's time to play catch up~ I've missed you guys♥




p.s. I had a bit of a shock yesterday when I found someone'd found this place :/ Why do I keep using the same usernames? Kim if you read my blogs at least reply to them ;) Cmon you know you wanna.
