It's... Christmas Eve :D

Doesn't feel that Christmassy at all but I guess our family's never really 'celebrated' Christmas :/ We stopped giving each other presents yeaaaaars ago and all we do on the 24th is lounge around, watch TV, eat, and well... eat. :D GOOD TIMEZ.

I finally, finally, finally found 雲のむこう、約束の場所 on this random, random site :D It was streaming but the quality was pretty DAMN good for a streaming video :DDDD

A friend of the family gave us toffees and whisky. What I DIDN'T expect my dad to do when he opened it was to take them out, and then say 'Here, take the boxes'.

Christmas decorations are up!

The tree took me aaaaages, I put up and took down the tinsel twice, then put in the stars, but there wasn't enough, so I settled on the bells inside and used the stars and tinsel to spell out 'XMAS' on the wall instead >____>
(p.s. this is in our chippy (fish and chip takeaway to those who don't know what I'm talking about. Apparantly they don't have these in the US!? :0 )

I was flicking through some dramas before, and suddenly spotted (erm, yes, you've guessed it, Kanata Hongo's name. So I thought 'Hey, time to WASTE some time', and watched the first ep.
About 4 minutes in: 'Hey that's... AYASE HARUKA! ♥______♥' (from Cyborg She.)
About another minute in: 'Wtf- Kamiki Ryonosuke!? :0 :0' (Tantei Gakuen Q. Except it's from 2005... so he was about 12 then. SO CUTE)
And then about 10 more mintues in: 'Oh. my. GOD... OGURI SHUN!???' (Be ashamed if you don't know him.)

Well, anyway, the cast shocked me xD
And the drama is so damn cute. Haven't seen a laid-back one like this in a while :) RECOMMENDED!

And thirdly:
A few days ago I found this:

Uehara Hiromi- Tom and Jerry Show.
Totally blew me away. So fucking QUICK. Her technique is amazing. o.o
And erm, the facial expressions and the hair is another story all together xD
The lives on youtube of her other music bored me a little bit 'cause I'm not that big a fan of the whole jazz and improvisation thing (in her case, a lot of all-out keyboard smashing o.o ), but the more clear recorded stuff is AMAZING. ♥♥ Took a lot of room in my Zen too >___>

I got my first university rejection :|
It was MEANT to be my back up choice (Biology with a Year Abroad at Sheffield), but it turns out they don't want me in >__> )
BUT they DID offer my a chance to change my UCAS option to straight Biology (AAB rather than the previous' AAA) AND you don't need an interview. Why the hell didn't I choose this in the first place?
And THIS, interviewers, IS WHY I LOVE SHEFFIELD ;___;

It's been a LONG TIME since I've posted.
Well, I tried a few days ago to put up this voice post meme but that failed cause IMEEM hated me :(
So I clawed out some time today to do one :D
First of all-
A HAPPY LIST! (because we all need one every now and then)

1. I did my first debate in debate club today... LOL. WE LOST, but I'm still happy. 楽しいかったから! It was kinda given that we'd lose since we were against Steven Wenham, but I tried using a shock tactic by sticking this at the end of my speech:
'By elminating the penny, all we are doing is grabbing the union jack *grabs union jack from the board where i'd stuck it before* AND RIPPING IT UP *RIPS IT UP* I don't think anyone listened to my words that THAT'D ONLY HAPPEN IF WE ABOLISHED THE PENNY cause they just gasped in horror and voted against me LOL. =_____=''
I was gonna beg for help the night before on LJ to get help for the penny argument but I got caught up watching EXTE instead. It. Is. PROPER. CREEPY. If you haven't seen it, WATCH IT. I never get grossed out from eating when I watch horror films, not even any bit of the SAW series, but that moment when this guy cut open the stiches- that SOUND the scissors and flesh made just nearly made me throw up. :( Worth a watch though :D

2. I was nominated to be a prefect ~! YAY. Just... Except the interview did NOT go well. Apparantly you had to act all noble, but that just really isn't me, and I'm sure the teacher interviewing me saw RIGHT THROUGH THE CHEESINESS.
Him: Why would you go into the trouble of reporting the gang of people?
Me: It's selfish of them to create a disturbance for people and it's damaging to the school's image.
Him: (*snorts*) Why should the school's image matter?
Me: ... Erm... Everyone's a community and we should be supporting each other. What they're doing is ruining it for other people (OMG WTF?)
Him: ...Is that what you REALLY think?
Me: *dies*

IT WASN'T GOOD. Of all the interviewing teachers I had to get the one that's seen my painted nail and HATES ME :( Wait, WHY is this on my happy list? xD

3. Not something to be especially HAPPY about, but I found it quite amusing- that rumour about Gakki and Tego(d) dating xD Well, I DID fall for it at first. As much as I'd congratulate Tego for getting a girlfriend, and Gakki is really cute and a nice match for a JE guy, I realized their first names they'd call each other eventually if they were actually dating would be Yuuya and Yui. No offense, but they just sound like sisters' names together xD =_____='

4. Me and Kim might be going to Fukuoka in Japan for a language course! For the Todd travel scholarship :DDD
Kinda depends how much we get in the scholarship cause if we only get like 100 or 200 pounds we definately would be allowed to go by parents =____=
I CAN STILL DREAM THOUGH RIGHT?
Lolol I'll have to drastically improve my non existant Japanese, though, if we do go.

5. I got my dress for the Oxbridge dinner in two weeks time~ =]

6. I found a Japanese set meal thing in Tokyou. I DON'T KNOW WHY I HAVENT TRIED IT BEFORE. ♥♥♥

8. I made an apron for my mum on Mother's Day :D  All hand stiched and sewn ♥
(Sorry I didn't manage to do Miso Soup in time for last Sunday... Too busy =___= )

My hands in the cat cloth flap bit to show its a pocket (even though it looks I'm shoving my hand down my pants for some reason??)
The neck hangy bit and the apron strings are made of music note ribbon :DD!!

9. NewS on their Taiyou no Namida Promotions
-SHIGE STRIPPING IN SHONEN CLUB OMG PLEASE I WANT TO DOWNLOAD THIS SO BAD. Most likely wait for Akirashock! subs to sub this :DD ARE ALL LAW STUDENTS THIS HOT?!
-Tego(d)'s erolyrics xD How ADORABLE did he look when Downtown were just RUTHLESSLY reading out the lyrics?? xD

-Their live singing's improvement was so obvious across the promotions =] (BUT TEGOD IS OBV BEST)

-Random, but this has got to be one of my favourite Pi scans in the HISTORY of time:

This one is so simple but so captivating  ♥

- SHIGE'S HAIR?! (It shouldn't be on a friggin happy list but I'll shove it here anyway) It actually looks less green to me now and more of a mousy brown =]

1. ME AND KIM ARE GOING TO SEE MIGHTY BOOSH LIVE IN OCTOBER <3 OH YES. We might get to see OLD GREG LIVE. If they sing Do you love me, my life will be complete. Well. No. It'll only be complete if I meet NewS. HA.

2. I got into the Philamonic concert the school's in !! YES! I got rejected for my Debussy solo the first time but I bugged the teacher long enough to let me get in to do the piano accompaniment for the Flute Choir (such a cool idea. 8 flutes.) I only have about a month to learn the whole of the Cantique de Jean... nantoka xD BUT OMG the main reason I wanted to get in so bad was to play on the 62,000 pound piano on the Phil stage. Should be good haha. :DD

3. THE MUSIC STATION OF TAIYOU NO NAMIDA... Aahhhh... I need to get to download the whole episode of it quickly, though. Hirai Ken, ELT, FLOW, Hikki, BoA etc etc are ALL ON IT.
And OhmyTego, I didn't even mind Shige's hair when he pushed it back in the middle of the 'rain' bit *____*
Pi got his scarf tangled around his ankle though xD Did anyone else see that? They gave him a scarf too long...
Tego's little dance improv was so much love at the end xD He likes adding those little things doesn't he?
And also, how come Ryo seemed to be waterproof the entire time?
Oh, and Kei and Pi kicking the water like that... <333 I love you boys~
I SO wanted to do a capspam but somehow after I pressed printscreen and pasted it on Paint, it just WOULDN'T WORK. :C

The people upstairs in the study room could actual smell what we were making and kept shouting 'GIZ YA WAFFLES' XD
