It's... Christmas Eve :D

Doesn't feel that Christmassy at all but I guess our family's never really 'celebrated' Christmas :/ We stopped giving each other presents yeaaaaars ago and all we do on the 24th is lounge around, watch TV, eat, and well... eat. :D GOOD TIMEZ.

i. Am going to Sheffield tomorrow for the Interview for Biology with a Year Abroad. D:
I'm really not sure why I've picked a course that needs an interview for my 5th choice. Stupidly putting unnessecary stress on myself =___='
But hey, you get a tour of the accomodation and the department, too, so that should be fun :D

Went shopping for the first time in a LONG time last Saturday. Christmas shopping!
I thought I had it all finished but I hinted to one of my friends today 'Oh, isn't *insert present*'s really nice?' 'cause I wasn't that sure whether she liked them or not, and she said 'Nah, I'm not that big a fan of them really'
... *heart breaks*
BUT- WE WENT TO WAGAMAMA. WHY HAVE I NOT BEEN THERE EARLIER IN MY LIFE♥♥♥♥:

I had my interview for Liverpool Uni for Medicine on Friday- NOT. FUN. It's supposed to be the easiest university for Medicine to get into since we LIVE here, but they asked all the questions I really didn't want to be asked, and DIDN'T ask all the questions I WANTED to be asked D: AND NO NHS QUESTIONS. D: D:
TBPH I think I screwed it up pretty bad but... it's useless worrying about it now :) I'll just have to wait until March or so for an answer. *cries in the corner*

1. Too tired to post properly, BUT HEY- I just got news before that our Chinese instruments teacher is having his 60th, and we have to perform there... 0________0
It kinda felt okay until my friend told me there'd be Oriental arts performers (I'm guessing singers and stuff) from all over UK would be there, too. Um. Pressure, much? It's in 18 days and they suggested I do a duet with YT ... ON AN INSTRUMENT I'VE NEVER PLAYED BEFORE.
That's okay, I love intensive musical training. :D

2. Going to Leeds open day tomorrow. I'm not exactly.. THAT enthusiastic for it as much as for Sheffield, but I need to fill up the last two places on my UCAS choices :/ Hopefully the course will be half PBL?

This is the most productive I got during last week:
Well it WAS an achievement seeing as I had to keep about 5 kids away from knocking it over :|
That questionable thing in the left hand side of the picture is their knee BTW.
I couldnt even get a single shot with the balancing animals on their own 'cause they kept running about DX. The kids, I mean, not the animals. That'd be a bit wierd.

Bed and Breakfast
I think I've left sorting out going to Edinburgh too late.
Ended up having to go a day before on Thursday AS WELL AS Friday and stay at some random B&B on my own :/
(WHICH IS GAY since It'll mean I'm missing going to Alton Towers with the rest of the year on Thursday, AND THEN a friend's party on Friday. :C)
Missing or getting on the wrong trains actually seems more scary than being attacked or whatever in some foreign city ;__; I'm AWFUL with public transport.
I'll make sure I actually get something out of this, though. In total the entire trip is going to be about 100 quid :/ And that's only if I find a decently cheap place to stay the night.

I am on the freaking verge of tears trying to struggle with Mechanics.
Half of the questions I can't do at all- no matter how much I mix up equations and develop some crazy strategy to get the answer- and the other half of the questions I think I have it right and end up getting it totally wrong DX
And even when I look at the mark scheme I DON'T UNDERSTAND.
UAGHHHHH. I'd like to be all noble and say 'oh yeah- it's all my fault I don't get it' WELL NO. I'M NOT GONNA BE NOBLE.
I'M GONNA BLAME PART OF IT ON MY FREAKING NEWBIE MATHS TEACHER WHO CRAMMED IN ABOUT 4 CHAPTERS INTO HALF A LESSON FOR US BECAUSE HE CAN'T CONTROL THE REST OF THE CLASS AND SPENDS MOST OF THE LESSONS PUTTING THE SIMPSONS ON THE SCREEN, OR EATNG PRINGLES.
AND WE HAVE HIM NEXT YEAR FOR CORE FOUR.

And seriously- by the 3rd part, I'd completely fallen in love with the film♥ Highly recommended.
